Drawing

I draw in my spare time. It helps me get through my tough days and relieve stress. I think drawing is the best way to express your inner emotions creatively. I don’t  have any specific things which I extraordinarily like to sketch. However I think that Life drawing is the hardest and the most challenging technique. I love to experiment and test new things which helps me pour inner emotion into piece of paper. I like to copy photographs which I took. I try to found an inspiration in the word around me. You just have to watch carefully! This is why I am drawing still nature, human, animals, landscape and anything pretty and interesting.

Flowers and furniture

When you wake up on a cold winter morning and you can feel the sunlight on you face it makes you feel that you want to be close to the nature. However is not right time yet.  All you can do  is give to an interior a spring look by adding some flower motives. You can bright up the space by changing colours of the wall. I have found an inspirational ideas in furniture and elements of decoration, which I think will light up any interior and cheer everyone up.

The Earth from the Air

Earth from the Air is quite old but spectacular presentation which still amazing me a lot. If anyone loves photography and haven't see it I really recommend to go on the web page or see a book where you can find all the pictures which were taken from the air. You can also find  text describing environmental concerns related to the photographs. No everyone is allowed to watch and admire our planet from the air, but this time world-famous photographer Yann Arthus-Bertran gives us this possibility. Earth from the air isn’t just  showing us diversity of  fauna, flora and landscape but also degradation of environment by humans. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed, rather  surprised what you will see it.

Student Room Design

Last year’s over the holidays I designed a room for my friend. His room used to be a cluttered up place where each piece of  furniture where different. He got to used to them so he wanted to keep them all. I changed location of the furniture to save some space. I also created a relaxation place where he could read the books. I advised him to refurbish some of the furniture and paint the walls in pale blue or green colours what made the place looking larger and brighter. Those colours are used as calming. They are perfect for rooms where you spend most of your time during the days and where you work or study. It helps you calm and relax your eyes. Sensory reactions to these colors can even result in a slower pulse and lowered body temperature, which indicates strong psychological ties to different colors. Below I present my final concept for this room design.

Castles in the sand..

Tynemouth project is a second project through my firs year. We were asked to create a conceptual idea for a new contemporary building or structure for a beach in Tynemouth.

Tynemouth beach is visited by lots of tourists ever year. It delivers a wide range of water-sports and other events. Local business includes variety of shops ,pubs, restaurants which are open through day. When the night come people start to look for some way of entertainment. This is why I decided to design a night club on the beach which will allow them to party without having a trip to the town. I wanted to create something modern and original. That is why I  came to the decision to create an atmosphere of the beach to exterior and interior of the building. Snow dome and fish tank gave me an inspiration for building shape. I think that combination of brick and glass have a natural and organic feel as they are made from sand. Brown finish make the building act as a base for energetic colours which I used for inner design. Its two floor building. Toilets are located on the first floor. Every element of interior including furniture has a touch of fauna and flora of sea. I have found the inspiration in sea shells, elements of coral reef, fish and water move. It allows me to create luxury style in the interior. The interior is furnished with fish tanks, bubble walls which bring in nature of sea world. Lots of colours make the place looking natural and fresh but also give a dynamic and nurturing feel. Finally I decided to design a roof to give the space more privacy and dazzling look. Star fish gave me an inspiration to make a roof. Its primary task is to cuddle the building. It allows me to create large windows to make the interior look very spacious from inside.

Place worth to visit - Ice Hotel

Ice Hotel, which is located in Swede is one of the famous hotels in the world. This is cool place where you can chill out and sleep on ice. All happened in freezing conditions and in almost total darkness. Lighting is an important element of every room. It gives to the interior more playful look and it makes you feel comfortable even in this freezing condition.  All furniture and elements of decoration are made up of ice and snow. The architecture of the hotel is changed every year, as it is rebuilt from scratch. The design of the hotel is unique and fascinating. The style of rooms is creating by many designers each year.

Marinus Vroom and Marjolein Vonk from The Netherlands designed this luxurious suite.

Ben Rousseau and Ian Douglas-Jones from Great Britain designed this amazing lighting system, which gives you a felling that you in a place from science fiction movie.

Above picture shows  main hall. Sofi Ruotsalainen, Mats Nille Nilsson and Lena Kriström were inspired by Swedish song I Indialand’ which is about magician living in India. They designed a hall with ice and snow sculptures pictures. Those pictures present a jungle and  days of a  magician's life.

Designers of above style are Liliya Pobornikova and Viktor Tsarski from Bulgary. When you think about designe of this room it makes you think that the sea and coral reef inspired them.  They are going to come back this year to decorate hotel's rooms once more.

This suite is playful, filled with giant soap bubbles, inspired by the sphere.
